Our Service

Are you a child care provider who would like to partner with Early Head Start to expand high quality learning for infants and toddlers?

Through a competitive grant opportunity, Ozarks-area Early Head Start programs can partner with either regulated center-based or family child care providers who agree to meet the Head Start Program performance standards.

Child care partners may either be employed by a local EHS center or serve as independent child care operators on a contract basis.

What Are the Benefits of Partnering with Early Head Start?

  • CDA training and certification as well as in-service trainings at no-cost
  • Recruitment and enrollments completed by an EHS Family Advocate
  • Support network of EHS staff including an Area Supervisor, Education Specialist, Early Intervention Specialist, Family and Community Partnership Specialist, Nurse, Mental Health Counselors, and others
  • Opportunities to network with other EHS Partners and Centers
  • Funds for program improvement, including a yearly consumable budget and monthly classroom budget if In-Kind goals are met.

Examples of In-Kind goals: Donated materials for use in the classroom, or volunteer time from families and community members.
