28 Apr Update to OACAC Program Services

The Governor’s Phase One Reopening Order Was announced on Monday, April 27, 2020 and is in effect beginning 12:01 A.M. Monday, May 4, 2020 until 11:59 P.M., Sunday, May 31, 2020.

We are going to continue the current work schedules each OACAC Program and Department has regarding working from home and/or the office through at least Friday, May 22, 2020 with Monday, May 26, 2020 as the Memorial Day holiday.

Modifications may occur in work schedules depending on the needs of programs and departments. We follow social distancing requirements and safe at work and home guidelines including promoting personal hygiene and the cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces.

The OACAC Central Office will remain closed to public traffic except for scheduled appointments and Family Planning services will continue with entry by the locked east door.

All Neighborhood/Community Centers will remain closed to public traffic except for scheduled appointments. This is for the safety of employees and clients. We will monitor what happens with Phase One.

The OACAC Dallas County New to You Thrift Store will reopen on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 under guidelines in the Order that will include social distancing and a limit on the number of individuals in the store at any one time.
