April is National Fair Housing Month, observed to increase efforts to end housing discrimination and raise awareness of fair housing rights. National Fair Housing Month also remembers the assassination of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in 1968 and his contributions to the Civil Rights Movement.
