30 May 60 in 4 Campaigns

We’ve been celebrating May as Community Action Month and the 60th anniversary of Community Action all month and we thank you for celebrating with us by participating in our 60 in 4 campaigns. Throughout the four full weeks of May we have collected 60+ items to share with the communities we serve!

May 26-31 is our final week and we’re focused on 60 for Health & Hygiene. Help us collect 60 packages of period products for our Family Planning team to provide to patients, as needed.

In the first three weeks of May, we held these drives and enjoyed a lot of success!

May 5-11: 60 for Learning & Creativity

Help us collect 60 educational games, coloring books, packages of crayons, and/or sticker packs for our Foster Grandparent Program Volunteers to share with their kiddos.

May 12-18: 60 for Kiddos

Help us collect 60 new packages of children’s underwear for our Head Start team to use in classrooms, as needed.

May 19-25: 60 for Our Furry Friends

Help us collect 60 packages of cat or dog food or kitty litter for our DMH Housing Program clients who have gone from unhoused to successfully housed.

Items can be dropped off at our Central Office (address below) or at any OACAC Neighborhood Center in our 10-county service area. Items can also be purchased online from our Amazon Wishlist and shipped directly to us at 215 S. Barnes in Springfield, MO 65802. Thank you.
