11 May May Is Community Action Month

As a Community Action Agency (CAA) serving Southwest Missouri, we are pleased to celebrate this month and the efforts made by the CAA network nationwide. We are proud to be one of 19 Community Action Agencies in the state of MO and one of more than 1,000 such agencies nationwide serving children, adults, seniors, individuals, families, and communities.

The Community Action Promise states, “Community Action changes people’s lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community, and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.”
