10 Jul OACAC Foster Grandparent Program celebrates 45 years

Happy 45th anniversary to the OACAC Foster Grandparent Program! Started at OACAC in 1972, the Foster Grandparent Program pairs seniors with children and youth for one-on-one support and mentoring. Foster Grandparent volunteers do many wonderful things any  grandparent would do with their own grandchildren, including playing, loving, laughing, and listening. They also assist teachers with tutoring, therapy, developing motor skills, and other classroom activities.
