OACAC’s Area Board Vice-President, Dave O’Dell Chosen as Gift of Time Volunteer of the Year!

Dave O’Dell, Vice President of OACAC’s Area Board of Directors, was selected as a Gift of Time Volunteer of the Year at a luncheon today presented by the Council of Churches of the Ozarks and the City of Sprigfield.  The Gift of Time awards recognize volunteers who contribute thousands of hours to make life better for our friends and neighbors here in the Ozarks.  Dave O’Dell has participated in leadership roles for OACAC since 1998.  Dave supports OACAC’s mission to provide assistance to thousands of low-income families and willingly explains to anyone who will listen how then can make a difference for those living in poverty.

Dave feels that the most important thing one can do is to take the time needed to volunteer and put your heart and soul into whatever you do.  He knows that volunteering enriches his life and the lives of others, and he has volunteered over 3,000 hours.  Thank you, Dave, for all you do for OACAC!  You are so deserving of this award.
