01 Jul REALL Volunteer Opportunity

Do you have a passion for helping youth realize their potential? Do you think it’s important that teens know that decisions they make now may follow them into adulthood?

For over 10 years, OACAC’s REALL project has aimed to do just that with a 3-hour simulation project that takes place in schools throughout Southwest Missouri.

OACAC is seeking clerical volunteers to help support an update to the kit this summer to reflect more current salaries and housing & other costs. We are seeking volunteers that can assist with cutting and laminating materials so kits can be ready prior to the start of the 2024-2025 school year. Kits will be used in school and youth service organizations throughout a ten-county area.

Volunteer hours can be flexible within the timeframe of M-F, from 8-5. Shifts of all lengths are available. All materials will be provided to volunteers. Work will be completed at OACAC’s Central Office, 215 S. Barnes, Springfield, MO  65802. Opportunities can be one-time or ongoing, based on volunteer preference. Documentation of volunteer experience is available, as needed.
