October is National Energy Awareness Month and to celebrate, we hope you’ll join us on Weatherization Day and hear how energy saving services make a positive difference in our community. OACAC Weatherization crew members will answer questions and demonstrate weatherization measures.
In 2017, OACAC weatherized 151 homes across the Ozarks. Benefits to homeowners and renters include reduced energy usage, annual energy savings of $280+, on average, alleviated substandard living conditions, and safer, healthier living environments.
This free event is open to the community and will be held on Wednesday, October 31 from 11am – 1pm at 2129 E. Elm Street in Springfield.
