Where: Alice 95.5 Studio in the Tower Shopping Center, corner of Glenstone and Sunshine in Springfield

From the Alice 95.5 website: One of the leading causes of homelessness in our community is when a family reaches an energy crisis. Simply put, they are forced out of their homes during the winter because they cannot afford to pay their utilities. That’s why this holiday season, Alice 95.5 is asking listeners to “Share the Light” across the Ozarks on Dec 14th with 12 straight hours of on-air giving to help families in the Ozarks stay in their homes this Christmas. 

A $10 in-person donation buys two Christmas bulbs (1 red/1 green) to take home and put up outside your house. Listeners can also donate online from Thanksgiving to Christmas Day. 100% of the money donated goes directly into OACAC’s Project Share, who distributes every cent onto low income families’ utility bills, keeping the lights on and the heat running during the cold winter months.
