In May 2020, a single mother reached out to the Webster County Neighborhood Center for assistance. She and her family had been impacted by COVID-19 and they needed support. She had aspirations of a better life for her family so she worked alongside Neighborhood Center staff to establish goals and work toward them over several months. By February 2021, through her determined dedication, she had achieved many accomplishments, including returning to work, obtaining new safe and affordable housing, and the completion of the HiSET.
