Sharing Gratitude

HOME mentors and mentees gathered together to spread some Thanksgiving cheer on November 18. They rolled up their sleeves, put on their oven mitts, and baked pumpkin pies.  Each group baked two pies; one for the mentee to take home and enjoy with their family and one to share with someone in the community. Mentors and mentees then worked to build and decorate Thanksgiving baskets to distribute in the community.  Each mentee gave the baskets their own personal touches and left inside a letter of kindness for the recipient.
