Jennifer sponsored a student to honor her grandfather. She stated, “My Grandpa Berton every year would donate supplies to the elementary school by his home. We didn’t know he did this until he passed.”

Your gift provides essential supplies such as a new backpack, paper, folders, crayons, pens, pencils, hygiene items, clothing, and much more.

After a long school year with an unprecedented ending, kids and teens are looking forward to the summer. But as they do, the months will pass and soon August will arrive.

Without the supplies they need, students are more likely to fall behind academically and experience low self-esteem. In our service area, 1 in 5 youth under 18 lives in poverty. Together we can empower young people by equipping them with the tools they need to learn and succeed.

Our communities have been generous during the COVID-19 crisis. Funding has been shifted to meet critical needs such as food, shelter, and safety. We love this response! With the change in priorities, the support we traditionally receive for school supplies has been significantly reduced. However, we will rise to the challenge together!
